Premier Girls tryouts are postponed till Monday due to Mrs Dorash being away.

The second round selections for the Premier Boys Basketball Team have been posted.  The next tryout is not until next Tuesday.  Grade 6 and 7 students - listen to announcements for District Team tryouts to come when the Premier selection is complete.


Mr. Mistol’s grade 7AD PE class will not be at the arena during P.5 today.  You will be in the gym today.

Update Grade 8 classes- Mme Stewart’s class has 110 points… looks like we are in the running! Get your Christmas elves donations in!!!

Only today and tomorrow left to donate a dollar to Shave the Stash and support men’s health.  Names will be drawn Friday morning!

Student Wellness Action Team (SWAT) please bring your pencil crayons and felt pens to todays meeting in room 122.

Premier Boys Volleyball - Please return your jerseys and shorts to Mr. Bohun. If they are not returned by Friday, your school account will be charged and then you’ll have to explain to your parents why you owe the school $100.

There will be no Pokemon Club tomorrow after school due to Parent/Teacher Interviews. Our next session will be Tuesday @ lunch.

Mini boys basketball try-outs are today at noon.  If you have not handed in your commitment form to Mr. Mistol, do so at the morning break.

Premier Boys basketball tryouts continue today after school.  If you missed the first tryout please see Mr. Slade sometime today.

The list of athletes selected so far for the Premier girls basketball team has been posted on the athletics bulletin board, our next practice will be Wednesday after school.  Mrs. Dorash would like to thank all of the girls that tried out. Choosing a team from so many great kids is a real challenge.  Thank you for your efforts.

You have only three days left to donate to Shave the Stash because they come off on Friday.  Donate $1 or more to a male teacher and enter your name for a chance to make that teacher look silly for the day.

If you are interested in participating in the Speech Arts portion of the Leduc Rotary Music Festival, you can pick up an information/registration letter from Mrs. Kay or Mme Marshall’s classrooms. Forms and payments are due back no later than Thursday, December 4th.

Band students are reminded that October practice is due this Friday.

Band students are reminded that this Friday is the last day to hand in October practice sheets.

Thur. & Fri. - Open band practice for anyone wanting help or practice time

Active Living students are asked to change into your gym clothes for tomorrow’s class during period 8. Please also meet in the far end classroom at the front of the school, instead of the music room. Your guest from Fitness Revolution will be meeting you there.

All mini boys basketball players need to hand in their commitment forms to Mr. Mistol as soon as possible.

Mr. Mistol’s Jr. High PE classes will be at the arena this week.  Before leaving for the arena, you need to meet in Mr. Slade’s bootroom.  
-If you do not have skates, you need a CLEAN pair of indoor shoes.
-If you do not have a helmet, please get one from the equipment room.

Next week will be your last chance to donate a dollar and shave a stash.  The shaving goes down on Friday!

The Student Wellness Action Team (SWAT) will meet today at 12:05 in room 122. Please bring your lunch, pencil crayons, markers.

Girls basketball tryouts will begin on Monday after school.  We will have a short organizational meeting Friday in rm 103 at 12:25.

Mini boys basketball try-outs are Thursday and Friday at lunch.  The list of remaining boys will be posted on the athletic board before the end of the day.

A huge congratulations goes out to the Premier Girls’ Volleyball team who fought hard to beat Coloniale in the semi-finals, and then took Leduc Jr High to 3 sets in the finals to come home with the silver medal! Great season girls!! You have a quick meeting at 12:05 in Mrs. Kay’s room (room 101)

Congrats to the Premier Boys Volleyball team on their Bronze Medal win last night at league playoffs. We had a great season with a tournament win early in the season and we also finished first in the league. Great job this year boys.

Premier Boys Volleyball - due to some make-up games being played in the gym today, you have practice from 4pm-5pm. After school you can either go home and come back at 4pm or stay and watch the District Boys Volleyball game. Mr. Bohun is not at school today but he will be back at 4pm for the practice.

Grade 6 basketball try-outs begin this week!  Boys will go on Tuesday and Thursday and 12:05pm.  Girls will go on Wednesday/Friday at 12:05pm.   Make sure you sign up on the athletic board if interested.


Would the Science Olympics team please meet in room 109 at 12:25 for a very short meeting.


We are now in Movember and the men on staff will be growing disgusting moustaches in the hopes of raising awareness and funds for men’s health.  If you want to shave the disgustingness off, give any male teacher a loonie and enter your name in a draw to shave at the end of the month!  

November has now started, so that means that October practice is now due for all band members. 


Band and choir members are reminded that this Thursday morning is the Remembrance Day ceremony. Please remember to wear black, white or red, as well as a poppy.
