5	Congratulations to our entire Jr. High track and field team for representing J.E. Lapointe so well at yesterday’s meet.  Although the official results have not yet been recieved, at least 15 students have qualified for zones.  Great job everyone!

3	Pokemon Club is running tomorrow after school in the Tech Ed room. All new students are welcome to join.
4	Elementary choir has a practice today at 12:10. There will not be any music room practices for the rest of the week as Mrs. Baron will be away with the jr. high band. Practices will resume as normal next week.

3	Talent show auditions are now complete and the final list of talent show performers has been made. Thank you to the many students who came out and to Ms. Ferchau and Mme. 3	We would like to thank the four grade four students who voluntarily cleaned up the walking path at the south-east corner of our playground last week.  You did a superb job of cleaning up this area and removed seven bags of garbage, all without being asked by anyone in our school.  Thank you so much for showing your great leadership, boys!

7	Music room practice has changed for choir this week, so please listen carefully to this announcement. Today is open band practice, Tomorrow is choir for both elementary and junior high. Elementary will sing from 12:10 - 12:30 & Jr. High will sing from 12:30 - 12:50. Jazz Band will be Wednesday.
8	Mrs. Baron’s option class is asked to hand in their scuba waiver forms right after these announcements. There are still quite a few that have not been handed in, so please make sure you get yours to Mrs. Baron right away. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and towel for class as you will be diving in pool tomorrow.
