• Report Cards - Elementary report cards will be sent home with students on June 28, if    your child will be absent please send a self addressed stamped envelope and we will mail on the afternoon of the 29th. Please note Mme McCallion will be handing out report cards on Wed. June 29 for classes 6D & 6E.

                                - Junior High report cards may be picked up Wednesday, June 29 from 
          11:00 - 12:00 in the school gymnasium.

• Please forward all chess pre-registration sheets to Mr. Maltais in room 119. Gracias. We need 9 more students from the entire school to make it happen!
• All elementary talent show performers are asked to come to the gym for a practice at 10:30 this morning. Junior high performers are asked to come to the gym after completing their morning exam.
• Any teachers performing at the talent show today is asked to come to the music room right at 12 noon for a quick rehearsal.

• Talent show auditions wrap up today. Anyone who missed their audition day due to the elementary track meet or any other reason, please come to the music room at 12 noon with your lunch.
• The final list of who made the show will be posted by Monday.
• The home ec room will be open tonight after school for any student that would like to come in to work on their project. Tonight is the last time that the class will be open after school. All machines will be gone for repairs as of next Tuesday.
• Thank you very much to all of the leadership students that went to Bellevue yesterday.  You did a great job working with the younger students and did an awesome job representing JE.  
• Thanks also to the junior high students who played their instrument solos and duets at the St. Vital Senior Centre yesterday morning. You made JE proud!
• Any band members that are helping decorate our school float must meet in Mrs. Baron’s room at the first recess this morning. There has been a change in the time we are decorating, so please come and pick up a new information note!
• A big congratulations to all students who debated last night in JE’s third annual tournament!  Congratulations to Brooklyn Crosby and Caleb Wright, who won the elementary category, and Emi Reich and Emma Stout, who won the junior high category.  A huge thank you to Mr. Slade, who did the stats for the evening, and Mr. MacNamara, Mrs. Nichols, Mrs. Schwer, Ms. Collett, Mrs. Flontek and Mrs Warrack for judging.  Another big thanks goes out to all of the student volunteers who helped make the night such a big success!

• Leadership students please see the posting outside of rm 103 to confirm where you will be working today.  Students going to Bellevue please be ready at the front entrance as soon as the 10:30 bell goes. 
• Good luck to our junior high and grade 6 debaters who are competing in their tournament after school today.   All debaters who are competing tonight need to meet in room 112 at 12:20 for an important meeting.  Also, could Hannah Lavigne, Joseph Abbass, Kara Matkea, Amber Moline, Mya McCarver and Nash Calvert meet in room 112 at 12:20 as well.
• It’s been a great year of track!  Congratulations to all elementary students who participated in the District Track Meet in Devon yesterday.  They all ran remarkable races!  Thanks to everyone for their great behavior and thanks to Mr. Maltais, Mrs. Kuny and all of the parents for all of their help.
• All junior high solo and duet players are to meet in the music room at 9:45 this morning. Teachers please excuse those students that are playing this morning at that time.
• Talent show auditions continue at noon today. All dance and other acts bring your lunch to the music room.

• The Home ec class is open tonight, until 4:30, for any student that would like to come in and work on their project.  All of the sewing machines will be gone after Monday, June 13 for servicing, so get your projects done please.
• A reminder that the 8 Jr. High student helpers will be leaving on the bus with the Elementary Track and Field team today.
• The year end band concert is tonight at 7 pm in the gym. Everyone is welcome to attend! The doors open for parents and band students at 6:30pm. Band members are reminded to wear black and white please.
• There will be an important meeting for next year’s junior high band members and parents immediately following the concert.
• Leadership students that have not handed in their form to go to Bellevue must meet in rm 103 for a short meeting at 10:30 this morning

• The home ec lab will not be open tonight, but it will be open the rest of the week for students that want to work on their home ec projects. 3:15 – 4:30 pm

• Congratulations to all 9 of our track and field athletes who competed at the Zone 5 meet yesterday.   Nathan Klapstein won the Jr. boys high jump, Billy Shea placed 3^rd in the Intermediate boys discus and Makarthy Bridges finished 4^th in both the 200m and triple jump.

• The Home ec room will not be open afterschool today or tomorrow due to Gr. 8 Farewell and early dismissal. It will be open on Friday until 4pm for any students that would like to work on projects.  Next week is your last class to work on projects, all projects are due before  June 17.
